SPCA Seberang Prai

The SPCA-Seberang Perai is a society registered in September 2005, and it was formed by a group of animal lovers with the cooperation of the Majlis Bandaraya Seberang Perai

The shelter is caring for nearly 1,800 rescued animals — including more than 1,400 dogs and almost 400 cats. Operating costs exceed RM100,000 every month, covering food, medical care, maintenance, and staffing. Despite the challenges, the shelter continues to care for hundreds of animals while working with local authorities on initiatives such as Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) programmes to help manage stray populations.
